Speaking to media Raman Preet, Chairman of PIBM, shared his vision of offering industry-integrated education that addresses the dynamic needs of India’s innovation-driven economy. “The goal is to provide students with relevant, real-world exposure in sectors poised for explosive growth,” he stated.
Flagship Offerings: Aviation and Semiconductor Design Engineering
One of the marquee additions is a course tailored for the indigenous aviation sector, equipping students with domain-specific expertise as the industry sees record growth. Another is the AI-integrated engineering module, designed to go beyond traditional instruction and apply machine learning and AI tools to infrastructure and systems development.
Semiconductor Design: A Strategic Inclusion
With India aiming to become a hub for semiconductor manufacturing and design, PIBM’s upcoming Semiconductor Design Engineering program is strategically timed. It aims to fill the talent gap in chip design, system-on-chip architecture, and embedded system engineering – areas vital to India’s electronics and digital strategy.
Entrepreneurship, Mobile Tech, and Global Expansion
PIBM is also building a startup-focused training model and preparing to launch a mobile company as part of this initiative – highlighting its broader objective of combining education with innovation and entrepreneurship.
In terms of expansion, Preet confirmed that five new campuses, including one in Chandigarh and an international campus in Dubai, are already in development. This expansion will take PIBM’s educational philosophy to global learners while reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading PGDM and MBA institutions.
